About this place

Originally opened in 1994, Po Tsui Park is a 4.24-hectare public park in Tseung Kwan O. Its newly upgraded children's playground features a vibrant 'Forest & Bear Bear Treehouse' theme. This inclusive, sensory-focused adventure area offers physically challenging climbing structures, multiple slides of varying heights, and a mini-zipline, all set within a green, beautifully landscaped environment.

Things to know

Unique Play Equipment

The redesigned playground features a 'Bear Bear Treehouse' climbing structure, 5 different slides (ranging from short toddler slides to a high-altitude climbing slide), a gliding track (mini-zipline), an inclusive merry-go-round, floral bells, and an 'Animal Party' tactile sensory wall.

Peak Hours & Crowd Control

Due to its high-quality equipment, the playground is extremely popular. It is highly congested during after-school hours, weekends, and public holidays. Weekday mornings or early afternoons are recommended for a more relaxed visit.

Weather Protection

Because it is an outdoor park, the playground can get very hot and humid during the middle of the day. Parents should bring plenty of drinking water, sunscreen, and sun hats.

Mosquito Protection

The playground is surrounded by lush green spaces and mature trees. Mosquito repellent is highly recommended, especially from April to October.

Good to know

Is there an admission fee to access the playground?
No. Entrance to Po Tsui Park and its children's playground is completely free of charge. Only organized bookings for major sports pitches and tennis courts carry rental fees under the LCSD's public system.
What is the theme of the playground and what can my children play with?
The playground is designed around a 'Forest and Bear Bear Treehouse' theme. Kids can play on a custom treehouse climbing slide tower, ride the gliding track (mini-zipline), enjoy an inclusive wheelchair-accessible merry-go-round, interact with a sensory wall featuring textured animal engravings, or ring the sensory floral bells.
Is there any parking available directly at the park?
No, there is no public parking within the park itself. If you are driving, the most convenient off-site public parking is located at the Po Lam Estate Car Park or the Metro City shopping mall garages, which are a short walk away.
Are there other family-friendly features inside the park?
Yes. Beyond the playground, the park has a pleasant walking and jogging trail, elderly fitness stations, a pebble walking trail, tennis courts, and soccer pitches. It is also connected to paved pathways leading directly to the nearby Po Hong Park (which features another large playground) and Po Lam Estate.
Are there baby care or diaper-changing facilities nearby?
While the park has standard public toilets, changing rooms, and wheelchair-accessible facilities close to the play zone, it does not feature a dedicated indoor nursing room. For private baby care or breastfeeding, families can walk 5 to 10 minutes to the adjacent Metro City shopping complexes.
