About this place
Managed by the LCSD, Po Hong Park is a massive outdoor recreational destination in Tseung Kwan O. It is highly popular with families for its exceptionally large children's play area, which is split into eight different play zones. Kids can burn off energy on varied climbing equipment, practice roller skating, or enjoy a family picnic on the open lawns.
Things to know
Eight Play Zones
The children's play area features 8 distinct structures. Younger toddlers (ages 2 to 5) can play safely on smaller slides and swings, separated from older kids (ages 6 to 12) on larger climbing frames.
Picnic-Friendly Lawns
Unlike many urban parks, Po Hong Park has plenty of open grass lawns. Families are welcome to spread out picnic mats and enjoy snacks under the shade of mature trees.
Next to the Public Pool
The Tseung Kwan O Public Swimming Pool is located right next door. It is highly affordable and features family-friendly leisure pools and water slides.
Sun and Bug Protection
The playground is entirely outdoors with open, sunny patches. Be sure to pack hats, sunscreen, and mosquito repellent for a comfortable visit.
