About this place

Managed by the LCSD, Mau Tai Road Garden in Po Lam has been transformed into a unique outdoor recreation space themed Foundry Land. Paying homage to the old Chiap Hua Iron and Steel Works, it features a climbing tower resembling iron casting, a liquid steel play hill, and highly interactive, accessible play elements for all abilities.

Things to know

Beat the Heat

Because the venue is entirely outdoors with limited natural tree cover, it is highly recommended to visit during cooler periods, either mornings before 10:00 AM or late afternoons after 4:00 PM to avoid extreme midday heat.

Inclusive Design

The playground is built for kids of all physical abilities. Wheelchair friendly options are integrated, including talk tubes at the sensory tower, wide access paths, and cooperative swings.

Shopping Mall Conveniences

The park sits directly adjacent to the MCP One shopping mall. Parents can easily step inside the air conditioned mall to find family dining, baby care rooms, accessible restrooms, and convenience stores.

Pack the Essentials

Bring water bottles, sun protection like sunscreen and hats, and mosquito repellent to ensure a comfortable outdoor play session.
