About this place

Sheung Ning Playground is a spacious, green outdoor recreation ground managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD). Located in Hang Hau, families visit this venue to enjoy its children's playgrounds, wide grassy lawns, and multi-purpose sports facilities. It is highly regarded as a local "urban lung" where families can stroll, exercise, garden, and play in a well-planned neighborhood setting.

Things to know

Bring Mosquito and Bug Repellent

Because the playground has lush landscaping, a community garden, and dense greenery, mosquitoes can be active, especially in the late afternoons.

Sun Protection and Hydration

Most of the play areas are completely outdoors and have limited shade during midday. Parents should pack sunscreen, hats, and plenty of water. A public water dispenser/drinking fountain is available near the female washrooms for refills.

Stroller-Friendly and Accessible

The park is exceptionally stroller-friendly with flat terrain, wide paved pathways, gentle ramps, and accessible public toilets.

Great Surrounding Amenities

Since it sits right next to TKO Gateway and East Point City malls, parents can easily take kids indoors to cool off, use clean nursery facilities, or grab a meal.
