About this place
Tsing Wah Playground is a public outdoor recreational facility and park located on Tsing Yi Island. Managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), it serves as a community space where local families enjoy children's play structures, and multi-generational visitors take advantage of fitness equipment and tranquil gardens. It is also a popular resting point for hikers conquering the local Sai Shan Country Trail and Sam Chi Heung route.
Things to know
Bring Insect Repellent
Because the playground sits near heavy green areas and hiking trails, mosquitoes and midges can be prevalent. Insect repellent is highly recommended.
No On-site Restrooms
There are no public restrooms directly inside the playground. However, public facilities are easily accessible at the nearby Cheung Hong Estate Commercial Centre.
Prepare for the Sun
As a fully outdoor park, sun protection is limited. While there is 1 pavilion and 7 arbours for shade, bring hats, sunscreen, and plenty of water.
Barrier-Free Access
The venue is stroller and wheelchair-friendly, featuring barrier-free facilities including a tactile guide path and a braille directory map.
