About this place

Tsing Luk Street Garden Playground is a public, outdoor neighborhood playground managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD). Serving as a quieter local gem, it features planted greenery, shaded seating for parents, and a dedicated children's play area with slides, climbing frames, and inclusive play structures.

Things to know

Pigeon Advisory

The garden is locally nicknamed Dove Park due to the high volume of feral pigeons. Watch young children to ensure they do not feed or touch the birds, and be mindful of bird droppings.

Pack the Essentials

Bring water bottles, sun hats, and mosquito repellent (critical from April to October). There are no shops inside the garden, but supermarkets are nearby in Tsing Yi Estate.

Beat the Humidity

The best times to visit are early morning (8:00 AM to 10:00 AM) or late afternoon (after 4:00 PM) to avoid the intense midday heat.

Upgraded Play Facilities

The playground features updated children's play equipment installed by the LCSD in late 2022 to enhance play variety.

Good to know

Is there any admission fee to enter the playground?
No, entry is completely free. It is a public park managed by the government's Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD).
Are there public toilets inside the playground?
There are no large dedicated restroom blocks inside the garden itself, but public toilets, changing areas, and nursing-friendly facilities are located just a short walk away inside the adjacent Tsing Yi Municipal Services Building and Tsing Yi Shopping Centre.
Is the playground wheelchair and stroller friendly?
Yes. The park is highly accessible with wide open entryways, low concrete pillars that allow stroller clearance, and dedicated tactile guide paths for accessibility.
Are dogs allowed in the playground?
While some nearby areas have Pet Shared Park initiatives, Tsing Luk Street Garden is primarily classified as a standard public pleasure ground, meaning pets are generally restricted from the children's play equipment zone for hygiene and safety.
What should I do if my child is sensitive to birds?
Because of its nickname as Dove Park, birds are frequently present. If your child is afraid of birds or has asthma triggered by feathers or dust, it may be better to visit neighboring indoor play areas.
