Families and local residents primarily visit to utilize its children's play area, take advantage of the open space for physical play, or use the newly renovated 5-a-side hard-surface soccer pitch.

No Onsite Toilets
Unlike some larger public parks, Chung Mei Road Temporary Playground does not have public changing rooms or toilets on-site. Parents should plan restroom breaks before visiting.
Recently Renovated Soccer Pitch
The outdoor 5-a-side hard-surface soccer pitch (measuring 28m x 18m) underwent fully completed renovation works in November 2025, offering a clean, refreshed playing surface.

The park features 5 rain shelters and 1 shaded arbour, providing resting benches for parents while supervising their kids.

The venue is designed with accessibility in mind, featuring wide entrance pathways, minor ramp slopes, tactile guide paths, a braille directory map, and a tactile floor plan.

Location & getting there
Getting here
Take the Tung Chung Line or Airport Express to Tsing Yi Station. From Exit C, the walking time to the playground is approximately 11 to 19 minutes (about 800m to 1.1km) via Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui Road.
Get off at the Ching Mui House Cheung Ching Estate bus stop (1-minute walk) or the Tsing Yi Police Station / Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui Road stop (3-minute walk).
There is no parking at the playground. Drivers can utilize paid public parking at the nearby Greenfield Garden Car Park (6-minute walk) or the Tsing Yi Station / Maritime Square Car Park.
Taxis can pull up directly along Chung Mei Road near the Tsing Yi Fire Station or Tsing Yi Police Station, which sit adjacent to the playground entrance.
