Busy times
About this place
A free public outdoor park and recreational facility managed by Hong Kong's Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD). Tucked into the traditional village setting of Sheung Shui Wai, it serves as a local neighborhood spot where families can enjoy casual outdoor play, neighborhood sports, and fitness activities.
Things to know
Beat the Humidity
Since the venue is entirely outdoors, the best visiting window to avoid the intense Hong Kong heat is early morning (8:00 AM to 10:00 AM) or late afternoon (after 4:00 PM).
Pack the Basics
There are rarely shops directly on-site in this village setting. Parents should pack water, sun hats, and mosquito repellent (especially from April to October).
Check Rainfall Warnings
Outdoor parks and playgrounds empty out rapidly during Amber Rainfall Warnings or higher. It is recommended to use the Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) app for rapid local weather updates.

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside this public pleasure ground.
