Sheung Shui Heung Sitting-out Area No. 9 is a small, outdoor municipal park and playground managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) of Hong Kong. Located inside the traditional walled village area of Sheung Shui Wai (Po Sheung Tsuen), it serves as a quiet neighborhood spot where local families can bring children for outdoor play, use the elderly fitness facilities, and appreciate the unique village heritage.

The sitting-out area directly adjoins the walled village's merit stone steles and sits right next to the historic Tung Hing Tong communal hall, making it a great educational stop.
24-Hour Public Toilet
The Sheung Shui Tung Hing Road Public Toilet is located inside the sitting-out area and is open 24 hours daily, equipped with accessible unisex facilities.
Accessibility
The concrete paths within the sitting-out area connecting to the play area and public toilet are flat and barrier-free, though they do not feature tactile guide paths.
No Onsite Shops
There are no retail or snack kiosks inside the park. Parents should bring water, sun protection, and mosquito repellent, especially during warm, humid months.

Location & getting there
Getting here
Take the East Rail Line to Sheung Shui MTR Station, exit via Exit A1, A4, or C, and walk for about 10 to 13 minutes heading northwest.
Take New Territories Green Minibus Route 59A to Tung Hing Road, or KMB routes 73K or B7 to Po Sheung Tsuen or San Wan Road, followed by a short walk.
Drive along San Wan Road and turn onto Tung Hing Road. You can park in the paid Tung Hing Road Carpark or Po Sheung Tsuen Open Space Car Park next to the venue.
Pedestrian footbridges, including bridge NF163 crossing Tung Hing Road, connect directly into the sitting-out area.
