About this place

This exceptionally small public sitting out area spans just 94 square meters. Nestled within the quiet village lanes of Sheung Pak Tsuen, it is managed by the LCSD. It features a pocket sized outdoor space with basic children's play equipment and seating benches, making it a low key village stop to let young children stretch their legs.

Things to know

Extremely Small Footprint

At only 94 square meters, this is a highly localized village park. Do not plan a day trip around it; it is best visited as a quick stop when passing through Sheung Shui Heung.

No Onsite Restrooms

There are no toilets or changing facilities inside the sitting out area. The closest public facility is the Sheung Shui Tung Hing Road Public Toilet.

No Onsite Shops

There are no food, water, or snack kiosks immediately at the venue. Parents should bring their own water, snacks, and wipes.

Mosquito Warning

Due to the village vegetation, mosquitoes are common, particularly from April to October. Packing insect repellent is highly recommended.

Good to knowGeneral guidance , know this venue? add detail

Is there a fee?
No. Public playgrounds in Hong Kong are free to enter and run by the LCSD.
What ages is this best for?
Most LCSD playgrounds suit ages 2 to 12, with separate toddler and older kid equipment. The exact setup varies by site.
Are there toilets nearby?
Usually yes. Most LCSD parks have public toilets within a five minute walk, and the nearest MTR station is a good backup.
What is the best time to go?
Mornings before noon are cooler and quieter, and late afternoon after the school rush works well too. In summer, avoid roughly noon to 3pm.
