About this place

Penfold Park in Sha Tin District is a free outdoor green space inside the racecourse tracks, popular with families for open-air picnics and dog walks. Children have plenty of space to run across grassy lawns, spot egrets around the lakes, and view Olympic equestrian legacy monuments.

Opening hours depend on horse activities, with early closure at 11:30am during Sha Tin day race meetings. Inside the park, the separately ticketed Pony World offers pony rides for children aged 3 to 14 with advance booking.
