Spanning 25,000 square feet, Hong Kong Climbing Park is one of the largest indoor climbing and bouldering facilities in Hong Kong. It features dedicated high-wall climbing, bouldering, and a Ninja Warrior zone. Families love the safe, air-conditioned indoor environment with glass ceilings that let in abundant natural light, offering custom introductory courses and regular kids' classes alongside challenges for all skill levels.

Things to know

Supervision & Accompanying Fee

Children aged 11 or below must be supervised by a paid adult (18 or above). Each adult can supervise up to 2 children. Non-climbing supervising adults must pay a HKD 100 accompanying fee.

Waiver Required

For any climber under 18, a liability waiver must be signed by a parent or guardian. This can be filled out online before your visit to save time.

Attire & Socks

Wear comfortable sportswear. Clean socks are mandatory if renting climbing shoes. It is also recommended to trim children's fingernails and tie up long hair.

Booking Policy

No pre-booking is required for general walk-in climbing. However, structured courses (such as Introductory High Wall or Bouldering) must be booked and paid at least 2 working days in advance.

By MTR

Take the Tuen Ma Line to City One Station (Exit A) and walk for 15 minutes, or the East Rail Line to Sha Tin Station (Exit A) and walk for 25 minutes.

Drive to Belair Gardens Phase 2, 52 Tai Chung Kiu Road, Sha Tin. Park in the shopping arcade car park and validate your pass at the reception for a discounted rate of HKD 12 per hour.

Good to know

Do my kids need prior climbing experience to visit?
No prior experience is needed. The facility is beginner-friendly and features six auto-belay systems on the top-rope walls, allowing kids to climb safely. They also offer guided 55-minute Introductory Courses with professional instructors.
What is the minimum age to climb, and do you have gear that fits children?
Kids as young as 4 years old can climb and join the regular training classes. The park rents out harness and climbing shoe sizes (at HKD 30 per item) specifically designed to fit very small children.
Can I drop off my child and leave the venue?
No. For safety reasons, children aged 11 or below cannot be left unattended and must be actively supervised by a responsible paid adult (aged 18 or above) at all times.
Is there anything to do at the venue besides bouldering and high walls?
Yes. The Sha Tin branch features a Ninja Warrior Zone with obstacle setups to test balance, strength, and reflexes. There is also an on-site dining area (Climber Café) where families can rest and grab food.
What payment methods do you accept at the counter?
