Nga Yiu Village Children's Playground is a small, free, public outdoor playground managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) of the Hong Kong Government. Spanning approximately 0.028 hectares, it is situated in the peaceful, rural landscape of Muk Wu Nga Yiu in the northern New Territories. Local village families use it as a simple outdoor spot for young children to burn off energy in a slower-paced countryside setting.

Smoke-Free Zone

The entire playground area is designated as a fully non-smoking zone to keep the air fresh for kids.

Remote Location

Located in a rustic area near the border, there are no convenience stores nearby. Be sure to pack water, snacks, sun protection, and mosquito repellent.

Basic Amenities

This is a very small playground with standard play equipment. It is best enjoyed as a quick rest stop while exploring the North District.

Getting here

By MTR

There is no direct MTR station within walking distance. The nearest major transit hub is Sheung Shui Station (East Rail Line), where you must transfer to a green minibus.

By Bus

Take New Territories Green Minibus 59K or 59S from Sheung Shui Station and get off at the 'Lin Ma Hang Road, Near Nga Yiu Village Children's Playground' stop.

By car

Drive via Man Kam To Road, turning onto Lin Ma Hang Road toward Muk Wu/Nga Yiu. Note that there is no official public parking on-site.

By Taxi

Taxis can be hired from Sheung Shui Station or Fanling Station to drop you off directly along Lin Ma Hang Road near the playground.
