Getting here

By MTR

Take the East Rail Line to Sheung Shui MTR Station (Exit A3 or D1) or Fanling MTR Station, then transfer to a bus or minibus.

By Bus

Take KMB Bus Route 79K or Green Minibus Route 59K from Sheung Shui, and alight at the Chuk Yuen stop, then walk into the village.

By car

Drive towards Lin Ma Hang Road via Heung Yuen Wai Highway to Chuk Yuen Village. Public open-air parking is available nearby.

By Taxi

Take a taxi from Sheung Shui MTR station via Lin Ma Hang Road, which takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes.

Do we need a special permit to enter this village and play?
No. Chuk Yuen Village was removed from the Frontier Closed Area in January 2016. You can visit the village and the playground without a Closed Area Permit.
Is there an entrance fee?
No. Admission is completely free, as it is a public facility run by the Hong Kong Government (LCSD).
