About this place
Perched on the 8th floor of the K11 MUSEA mall, Nature Discovery Park is a unique rooftop nature conservatory and sustainability-themed education center. Designed to showcase Hong Kong's ecological value, it features an indoor reception archive, a farmhouse glasshouse, an outdoor urban farm, an aquarium showcasing marine life native to Victoria Harbour, and an open-air butterfly garden. Families visit to explore urban biodiversity, engage in hands-on eco-workshops (such as jellyfish feeding and organic harvesting), and enjoy a serene green sanctuary overlooking Victoria Harbour.
Things to know
Finding the Park
K11 MUSEA is huge and finding the park can be tricky. Head to the main lift lobbies inside the mall and look for dedicated elevators, like lift LT4, which go directly to the 8th floor rooftop.
Tickets & Workshops
Standard entry requires a paid ticket (typically HK$150 for a 90-minute self-guided tour and tea or water). Most workshops, like jellyfish feeding or guided eco-tours, require prior online booking.
Outdoor Weather
The main farming, butterfly, and marine life zones are outdoors. Dress kids in weather-appropriate clothing and bring sunscreen, hats, and water. Outdoor areas may close during heavy rain.
Stroller Access
Pathways are wide and fully stroller-accessible. You can also borrow complimentary baby or pet strollers from the B1 Concierge, and find clean nursery rooms on B2, B1, and L3.
