About this place

Established in 1994, Tai Tong Organic EcoPark is an expansive leisure, agricultural, and educational farm spanning over a million square feet in Yuen Long. Families visit to step away from the busy city, participate in seasonal organic fruit harvesting (like strawberry and lychee picking), interact with farm animals (goats, ostriches, fish), and let kids release energy across outdoor playgrounds, ropes courses, grass slides, and pony rides.

Things to know

Mosquito and Sun Protection

Because the park is highly outdoor and green, mosquitoes can be very active. Apply plenty of insect repellent or patches on skin and clothing. Bring sunscreen, hats, and portable fans, especially during hot summer months.

The Coupon Activity System

General entry tickets only cover basic admission to the park's grounds and public playgrounds. For interactive attractions (such as family bicycles, bouncy castles, animal feeding), parents must purchase a multi-grid Activity Package (typically $80 HKD for 4 vouchers) to redeem for specific activities.

Dining on Site

There is a restaurant on-site, Tung Yan Street Restaurant, famous for its lychee wood roasted chicken. It is highly popular, and ordering the roasted chicken usually requires pre-booking. Barbecue (BBQ) buffet options are also available.

Stroller Access

Bringing a stroller is fully permitted. Paved roads connect most of the primary sections, though parents may encounter minor stairs or narrow gravel paths in suburban sections like the BBQ fields.

Good to know

Can I bring a stroller into the park?
Yes, parents have verified that strollers are permitted inside the park, and major walkways are easily navigable. It is a spacious environment suitable for pushing a pram, though you may encounter stairs or narrow pathways if you venture off-track into suburban hiking or BBQ zones.
How do we get to the EcoPark using public transport?
Take the MTR to Long Ping Station (Exit B2), then board the MTR shuttle bus K66. Alight at the Tai Tong Shan Road Bus Stop and walk about 15 minutes along the country path to reach the ticket office. Alternatively, a red public minibus runs from Hung Min Court (near Citimall) in Yuen Long directly to the Tai Tong Shan Road stop.
How do the activity ticket packages work?
While entry has a baseline fee (which changes based on seasonal fruit packages), internal attractions are operated on a voucher system. Parents buy a voucher booklet (such as 4 coupons for $80 HKD). Different activities deduct different amounts, for instance, a family bike ride costs 3 vouchers, while a pack of fish food costs 1 voucher.
Is it possible to feed the animals, and do we need to bring food?
Yes, the mini zoo hosts goats, sheep, peafowls, and fish. You cannot bring your own food to feed them; instead, you must purchase official animal food on-site using cash or activity vouchers.
When is the best time of year to visit?
The cooler winter and spring months (December to April) are the absolute best times. This is peak organic strawberry picking season, and the pleasant weather ensures kids do not overheat while running around the extensive outdoor playground.
