Getting here

By MTR

Take the Tung Chung Line to Tung Chung Station (Exit B). From there, walk approximately 1 to 2 minutes to the adjacent bus terminus to catch an onward bus.

By Bus

From Tung Chung, take NLB Route 11, 11A (operates Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays only), or 23 and alight at Shui Hau Village. From Mui Wo, take NLB Route 1 or 2 and alight at Shui Hau Village.

By car

Drive via South Lantau Road. Note that private cars require a valid Lantau Closed Road Permit. If permitted, park at the Shui Hau Public Carpark.

By Taxi

Blue Lantau Taxis can be taken directly from Tung Chung MTR Station or Mui Wo Ferry Pier to Shui Hau Village.

By Walking

The area can be reached on foot by hiking along Lantau Trail Section 9.

No. Under LCSD regulations, smoking is strictly prohibited inside the Lantau Island Shui Hau Sitting-out Area.
Can we easily drive our private car to this playground?
No. There is no onsite parking. Additionally, driving a private car on South Lantau roads requires a Lantau Closed Road Permit issued by the Transport Department. If you hold a permit, you must park in the nearby public village carpark.
