Kindhood is a premium family members' club located at The Pulse beachfront complex in Repulse Bay. Spanning a massive 9,000 sq ft indoor playroom and a 7,000 sq ft rooftop terrace, this seaside haven offers structured classes, themed play zones, and family-friendly dining at the onsite Brasserie.

Things to know

Experience Passes for Non-Members

Although it is primarily a private members' club, non-members and travelers can book single-use 3-Hour or 1-Day Experience Passes in advance via the website.

F&B Minimum Spending

All Experience Pass holders are subject to a minimum food and beverage spending requirement of HK$100 per adult (or any guest aged 10 and above) per visit.

Socks Policy

Standard clean socks are required for all children and supervising adults entering the play areas.

Rooftop Play and Sun Protection

The 7,000 sq ft roof terrace is beautiful for tricycle riding and running, but it has minimal shade. Parents should dress kids in sun-protective gear and bring sunscreen and caps.

Getting here

By MTR

Take the South Island Line to Ocean Park Station, then take a taxi directly to The Pulse (approx. 10 to 15 minutes), or take bus routes 6A, 6X, 73, 260, or 973 from the Wong Chuk Hang San Wai bus stop.

By Bus

From Central Exchange Square, take Bus 6, 6A, 6X, 66, or 260 to the Repulse Bay Beach stop. From Causeway Bay, take Green Minibus 40 or 40X from Jardine's Bazaar.

By car

Navigate to The Pulse, 28 Beach Road, Repulse Bay. Drive into the commercial complex garage, which houses approximately 50 parking spots.

By Taxi

A taxi from major hubs on Hong Kong Island (such as Admiralty, Wan Chai, or Causeway Bay) takes about 15 minutes and costs approximately HK$80 to HK$100.

Do we have to be members to play or attend classes at Kindhood?
No. While Kindhood is primarily a private family members' club, first-time visitors and non-members can buy a 3-Hour Experience Pass (from HK$380) or a 1-Day Experience Pass (from HK$580) to enjoy the indoor/outdoor play zones and facilities.
Is there an age limit for children at the playroom?
The playrooms and activities are best suited for children up to 8 to 10 years of age. Structured baby classes are offered for infants starting as young as 6 months.
What types of structured classes are available?
Kindhood hosts a dynamic timetable of developmental classes including Little Cheflets (cooking and baking), Create & Dream (messy art and crafting), The Groove Factory (music and movement), and specialized multi-activity holiday camps.
Are adults allowed to eat or drink inside the venue?
Yes. Kindhood has an onsite restaurant called The Brasserie, which serves home-cooked foods, coffees, and alcoholic beverages. Please note that Experience Pass visits require a minimum F&B spend of HK$100 per adult.
Can we book a private birthday party if we aren't members?
Yes. Kindhood offers fully customizable, themed packages (such as Princess & Pirate, Dinosaur, Tie Dye, Disco, Mad Scientist, or Water Parties) where their staff handles invitations, themed decor, catering, entertainers, and full post-party cleanup.
