About this place
Located on the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront next to Victoria Harbour, the Hong Kong Space Museum is an aerospace and astronomy learning center. Recognizable by its unique hemispherical dome, the venue houses the state of the art Stanley Ho Space Theatre (featuring 3D dome and OMNIMAX movies) and two themed, highly interactive galleries, the Hall of the Cosmos and the Hall of Space Exploration. Families visit because it provides a highly engaging, hands on environment where kids can pilot virtual spacecraft, simulate lunar gravity, and explore the mysteries of the universe.
Things to know
Stroller Policy
To prevent overcrowding, strollers are not allowed in the exhibition galleries. You must deposit them at the customer service counter in the foyer. Bringing a soft baby carrier is highly recommended.
Book Tickets in Advance
Tickets for exhibition halls and planetarium shows can be booked up to 7 days in advance via URBTIX. Space Theatre shows sell out quickly, especially on weekends, so early online booking is essential.
Free Wednesday Admission
Plan your visit on a Wednesday to enjoy free admission to the permanent Exhibition Halls for the whole family.
Babycare Room
A dedicated Babycare Room is located on the Ground Floor Foyer, equipped with a changing table, sink, seating, and electrical outlets for breast pumps.

Getting here
Take Tsim Sha Tsui Station Exit E and walk south along Nathan Road to Salisbury Road (approx. 5 minutes), or East Tsim Sha Tsui Station Exit J3 (approx. 3 to 5 minutes).
Alight at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre bus stop directly outside the venue. Multiple routes stop here, including 1, 1A, 2, 5, 5A, 5C, 6, 7, 8, 8A, 9, 28, 973, and A21.
Drive towards Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui. There is no public car park on site. Drop off passengers at the designated layby and park at nearby commercial garages like K11 MUSEA.
Taxis can drop passengers off directly at the Salisbury Road entrance or the adjacent Hong Kong Cultural Centre foyer.
