Flagstaff House Museum of Tea Ware
Busy times
About this place
Originally built in 1846 as the official residence of the Commander of the British Forces in Hong Kong, this Greek Revival heritage building is the oldest surviving colonial Western building in the city. Today, it serves as a specialized branch of the Hong Kong Museum of Art. Families visit to explore a vast collection of antique ceramic teaware and Chinese seals, participate in tea ceremonies, and let children play in a dedicated tea-themed playroom, all nestled within the quiet greenery of Hong Kong Park.
