Set within a 1.3-hectare revitalized heritage campus, the Asia Society Hong Kong Center is an architecturally celebrated cultural, artistic, and intellectual hub. Built on the site of a mid-19th-century British military explosives magazine compound (Victoria Barracks), it seamlessly integrates preserved historic stone vaults and low-rise blocks with sleek, modern glass structures. Families visit to explore this unique urban jungle, stroll across the striking double-decker zigzag skybridge, visit the scenic rooftop garden overlooking the skyline, view rotating modern art exhibitions, and participate in curated children's educational programs.

Stroller Accessibility
The main contemporary buildings, the rooftop garden, and the iconic zigzag footbridge are stroller-friendly. However, the historic trails surrounding the 19th-century military structures are situated on a steep hillside with older stone steps and uneven ground, which can be difficult to navigate with a stroller.
Free vs. Paid Admission
Access to the beautiful outdoor grounds, historic buildings, and the rooftop garden is completely free. While some rotating art exhibitions in the Chantal Miller Gallery are free, others may occasionally charge an entry fee.
Nature and Wildlife
Because the venue is surrounded by a dense, jungle-like rainforest canopy, parents should apply mosquito repellent on children before exploring the outdoor pathways.
Heritage Etiquette
The site is a protected historical monument displaying valuable indoor and outdoor art. Parents should remind kids not to touch or climb the outdoor artwork and historic structures.

Getting here
Take the MTR to Admiralty Station. From Exit C1, walk into Pacific Place, head towards the British Consulate level via the mall escalators, and walk about 8 to 10 minutes up the slope of Justice Drive. Alternatively, use Exit F (Three Pacific Place) and walk up from the street level exit.
Numerous bus routes stop along Queensway at the Admiralty - Pacific Place stop, which is about 230 meters from the venue. Useful routes include 1, 5B, 10, 23, 37A, 40, 90, 101, 104, 113, 930, 930X, 952, 960, 962X, 968, and 978.
Drive to 9 Justice Drive, Admiralty. There is no onsite parking, but you can use the front drop-off loop. Park nearby at Pacific Place or Three Pacific Place (accessed via Wing Fung Street).
Direct the taxi to 9 Justice Drive, Admiralty. Taxis can drop off passengers directly at the main entrance circle.
From Admiralty MTR or Pacific Place, follow the signs toward Conrad Hong Kong or the British Consulate. Walk up the paved sidewalk of Justice Drive to the top of the hill.
