Tui Min Hoi Rest Garden Playground
Busy times
About this place
Tui Min Hoi Rest Garden Playground is a public outdoor playground and leisure area in Sai Kung. Tucked away from Hong Kong's busier play parks, it offers a peaceful, scenic waterfront environment where younger children can play on basic climbing structures and swings, and parents can enjoy the sea breeze. The garden is also equipped with sitting-out benches and basic elderly fitness equipment.
Things to know
Beat the HK Humidity
The best windows to visit are in the morning between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM, or in the afternoon after 4:00 PM to avoid the intense midday heat.
Pack the Basics
Be sure to bring your own water bottles, sun hats, and mosquito repellent (especially from April to October). There are rarely convenience shops directly onsite.
Watch the Weather Warnings
The playground is entirely outdoor and uncovered; if an Amber rainfall warning (or higher) is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory (HKO), the park will clear out very quickly.
Strictly Smoke-Free
Like all public pleasure grounds under the LCSD in Sai Kung, Tui Min Hoi Rest Garden is a completely non-smoking venue.

Location & getting there
Getting here
There is no direct MTR line to Sai Kung. The closest station is Po Lam Station or Hang Hau Station, but both require a further transfer (by bus or minibus) to reach the venue.
Green Minibus Route 4 or 4A drops off directly on Hong Kin Road near Ming Shun Village. Alternatively, take KMB 92, 96R, 292P, or NWFB 792M to Lakeside Garden (Hiram's Highway), followed by a 3 to 5 minute walk.
Drive towards Sai Kung via Hiram's Highway, and turn into Hong Kin Road toward the Tui Min Hoi area. Since there is no onsite parking at the garden, you must use public street-meter parking or nearby public parking lots.
If you are already in Sai Kung Town Centre, you can take a flat, scenic 10 to 15 minute walk across the bridge or waterfront path toward the Tui Min Hoi area.
