About this place

One Small Step is a Scandinavian-inspired family café and soft indoor playground designed specifically to give parents and their young kids a peaceful sanctuary from the city's hustle and bustle. It features an open-plan layout where comfortable café seating looks directly onto play areas, including a two-story play structure, sensory play, a ball pit, slides, and swings, allowing parents to relax, enjoy a coffee, and socialize while keeping their little ones safely in view.

Things to know

Strict Socks Policy

Footwear is not permitted inside the play and dining venue. Both adults and children must wear socks at all times. Socks can be purchased on-site for HKD 20 per pair if you forget yours.

Hourly and Minimum Spend Rates

Dining requires paying both an hourly entry fee and a fixed food and beverage minimum spend per person (subject to a 10% service charge). Weekdays cost HKD 40 entry fee + HKD 40 F&B spend, while weekends and holidays cost HKD 60 entry fee + HKD 60 F&B spend. Under 12 months are free.

No Outside Food and Drink

Outside food and drinks are strictly forbidden, with the exception of birthday cakes. Bringing your own birthday cake incurs a cake-cutting charge of HKD 200 per cake.

Self-Supervision Required

Parents and guardians are solely responsible for supervising their own children. The cafe does not provide child supervision or daycare services.

No, babies under 12 months old are free of charge. However, parents must still register them in the booking to ensure the venue allocates the correct seating and table space.

Advance booking is highly recommended due to strict capacity limits designed to prevent overcrowding and maintain a clean environment. Bookings can be made via the inline system on their website or via WhatsApp.
