About this place

Baumhaus is a pioneering, family focused creative play space, coffee lounge, and early learning hub in Hong Kong. Designed with the needs of young families in mind, it is home to Hong Kong's number 1 internationally accredited Kindermusik program. Families visit the centre to engage in music, movement, and performing arts classes, and to let children explore a custom made wooden treehouse play area while parents connect in a relaxed café setting.

Good to know

Can we drop in to use the playroom if we aren't enrolled in a regular class?
Yes. The playroom is open to the public on a drop in basis for kids aged 6 months to 4 years. The daily admission is HKD 150 for the first child and HKD 75 for subsequent siblings (free for infants under 6 months).
What does the playroom offer?
The main highlight is a solid birch wood treehouse crafted in Germany, designed to stimulate physical coordination and motor skills. Additionally, there is a pretend play kitchen, soft play areas, a sensory block zone, and a cozy book corner.
Is there an on-site café? Can we buy food for the kids?
Yes. Baumhaus has a spacious café lounge serving coffee, tea, and healthy options for parents, alongside kid friendly menu items like mac and cheese and babyccinos. The seating offers a clear vantage point so parents can relax while supervising play.
Is there a way to try out a music class before registering for a whole term?
Yes. Baumhaus offers a single trial class for first time families for HKD 350, which includes a 45 minute Kindermusik class and free, same day playroom access.
How is the playroom capacity managed?
To prevent overcrowding and maintain a safe, peaceful environment, Baumhaus strictly limits playroom capacity to 20 children at any one time (though they can occasionally open up the studio rooms to increase capacity to 30).
