About this place

Built to biblical specifications, Noah's Ark Hong Kong is the world's first full-size replica of the legendary vessel. Nestled on Ma Wan Island under the Tsing Ma Bridge, this multi-story eco-educational theme park features 67 pairs of life-sized animal sculptures, high-tech interactive exhibit galleries, and outdoor adventure areas. Families can combine wholesome, nature-oriented play with interactive learning exhibitions that teach life values, science, and environmental conservation.

Things to know

Plan Transportation Carefully

Because driving a private car is not an option, you must take public transit. The easiest ways are taking the ferry from Central Pier No. 2 (approx. 20 to 30 mins) or catching a Park Island bus: NR330 from Tsing Yi MTR, NR332 from Kwai Fong MTR, NR331 from Tsuen Wan, or NR331S from Tsuen Wan West. Urban taxis are allowed on the island 24 hours a day.

Wednesday Closures

The theme park is strictly closed on Wednesdays (unless it is a public holiday), so make sure not to schedule your visit for mid-week.

Ropes Course Rules

If your kids want to participate in high-energy outdoor activities, they must bring and wear their own sports pants and athletic shoes. Long hair must be tied up before starting.

Extra Fees for Activities

Though general admission includes basic park access, many on-site DIY workshops, children's driving zones, and special games require the purchase of additional game tokens (costing around HKD 20 for 2 tokens) or cash payments.

Good to know

Since we cannot drive there, what is the best way to travel to the park with kids?
You can take a scenic ferry ride from Central Pier No. 2 directly to Park Island Pier, which takes about 20 to 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can take highly accessible public shuttle buses: NR330 from Tsing Yi MTR Station (Exit C) or NR332 from Kwai Fong MTR Station (Exit D). Urban red or green taxis are also permitted on Ma Wan 24 hours a day.
Are there family dining options inside Noah's Ark, or do we need to bring food?
Yes, there are multiple on-site dining options. The primary dining spot is the Harvest Restaurant, which offers international food and buffet options overlooking the beach and Tsing Ma Bridge. There is also Noah’s Kitchen, which serves light snacks and desserts. For more casual options, Tung Wan Beach has nearby local restaurants and convenience stores a short walk outside the park gates.
Is the park suitable for very young toddlers?
Yes, it is very suitable for toddlers and preschool-aged kids. They will particularly enjoy walking around the Ark Garden to see 67 pairs of life-sized animal sculptures. The Treasure House also features bright, easy-to-understand interactive galleries detailing nature, music, and the universe. Children under the age of 3 get in for free.
Do we have to pay extra for workshops or games once we enter?
Yes. General admission covers entry into the main exhibition halls and play parks, but many specific activities (such as the children's driving zone, the interactive firefighter rescue simulation, or DIY craft workshops) require on-site payments or game tokens. These tokens can be purchased at the counters for HKD 20 for 2 tokens.
Can we bring our dog with us to the park?
Yes, Noah’s Ark is a pet-friendly theme park. You can bring a dog (weighing 20kg or below) by purchasing an additional Pet Ticket for HKD 50. Pets must be kept on a leash and are allowed in designated outdoor zones and select pet activities. Note that pets are not allowed to stay at the on-site Noah's Ark Hotel & Resort.
