About this place

Originally established in the 1960s on a leftover triangular plot of land formed by major intersecting streets, this pocket park serves as a resting point in the middle of a highly bustling urban corridor. Families, caregivers, and toddlers visit the sitting-out area for a quick breath of fresh air and a brief play session while navigating the busy commercial districts of Prince Edward and Mong Kok.

Things to know

Traffic Proximity and Noise

Because the playground sits on a narrow triangular slice of land directly bordered by Nathan Road and Boundary Street, it is exposed to constant heavy traffic noise and vehicle exhaust. It is not recommended for long stays or for children highly sensitive to noise.

Close Supervision Required

Due to the busy roads surrounding the park on all sides, parents must actively supervise toddlers to ensure they do not run out of the park entrances toward active traffic lanes.

No Onsite Restrooms

There are no public toilets, diaper-changing tables, or drinking fountains located inside this pocket park. Parents must utilize the restrooms at the nearby Prince Edward MTR Station or neighboring shopping malls (e.g., Allied Plaza).

Weather & Humidity

There is limited shade structure over the play equipment. During hot summer months, the best visiting windows are early morning (before 10:00 AM) or late afternoon (after 4:30 PM) to avoid direct heat and hot equipment surfaces.

No, it is a public pleasure ground managed by the Hong Kong Government (LCSD) and is completely free of charge.
What facilities are there for kids to play on?
The play space contains a very small, basic neighborhood children's playground with standard modular climb-and-slide play elements.

Yes. The sitting-out portion of the park contains several long benches under a square gazebo structure, which are commonly used by parents, caregivers, and local elderly residents.

The park features a decorative, flowing artificial waterfall wall installation near the Boundary Street entrance, which provides a visually pleasant landmark in an otherwise heavily concrete neighborhood.
