About this place

Operated by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), Ma Mei Ha Playground is a small, neighborhood park located in the rural village of Ma Mei Ha, Fanling. It is popular with local families and sports players looking for a quiet, crowd-free outdoor space to play badminton, table tennis, or enjoy the children's playground equipment.

Things to know

No Floodlighting

Because there is no artificial lighting, plan your visit during daylight hours. The playground becomes pitch dark and unusable after sunset.

Bring Your Own Supplies

There are no major convenience stores or snack shops directly adjacent to the playground. Always pack plenty of drinking water, snacks, sun protection, and hats.

Mosquito Protection

Being a rural, grassy area in the New Territories, mosquitoes can be highly active, especially from April to October. Bring strong mosquito repellent.

No Restrooms Onsite

There are no public toilets or changing rooms located inside the playground boundaries. However, the Ma Mei Ha Tsuen Public Toilet is located very close by in the village.
