Lok Kwan Street Park Children's Playground
Busy times
About this place
Bounded by Wai On Street, Lok Kwan Street, and Fuk Lei Street, Lok Kwan Street Park is a 9,600-square-meter urban escape designed in a contemporary Chinese garden style. It is characterized by scenic lily and goldfish ponds, elegant pavilions, and a traditional Pai Lau archway entrance. Families visit primarily to escape the bustling city hub, letting kids enjoy the clean, safety-carpeted children's playground while walking along the park's tranquil, green pathways.
Things to know
Beat the Heat
Due to high humidity and lack of heavy shade over the play structures, the best visiting times are between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM or after 4:00 PM.
Bring Insect Repellent
With lush vegetation, flowers, and ponds on-site, mosquitoes can be active (especially from April to October). Insect repellent is highly recommended.
Self-Catering is Key
There are no food kiosks or shops directly inside the park, so pack your own water bottles, snacks, and sun protection.
Scooter Friendly
The paved paths throughout the park are clean, flat, and spacious, making them ideal for kids to bring along and ride their scooters.
