Busy times
About this place
Spanning approximately 1.2 acres, Lai King Hill Road Playground is a public outdoor municipal park managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) of Hong Kong. Tucked away on Lai King Hill in Kwai Chung, it serves as a local neighborhood spot where families go to enjoy basic playground facilities, walk on the pebble trail, or play outdoor sports away from the busier central hubs of the city.
Things to know

Because the playground is nestled against a leafy hillside, mosquitoes can be prevalent. The LCSD has installed specialized mosquito traps, but it is highly recommended to apply bug/mosquito repellent before visiting.
Hydration and Snacks
There are no food kiosks or refreshment shops inside the park. Be sure to pack water bottles and snacks for your kids.
Sloped Terrain
The playground is situated on Lai King Hill, meaning some access pathways from the surrounding area may be moderately sloped.
Cleanliness & Smoke-Free
The playground is a designated completely smoke-free public venue.
