About this place

Managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) of the Hong Kong Government, Wah King Hill Road Garden is a minor, passive open space. Nestled on a hillside overlooking the surrounding residential areas, it is primarily designed as a rest garden for local residents. Families visit this location to enjoy fresh hillside air, relaxed walks, and passive outdoor recreation rather than high-energy playground play.

Things to know

No Public Restrooms

There are no public toilets or baby-changing facilities inside the garden. Families should utilize restrooms at the nearby Wonderland Villas Commercial Complex before visiting.

Good to know

Is it open during public holidays?
Yes. The garden is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including all public holidays.
Are there baby-changing facilities or restrooms nearby?
There are no restrooms inside the garden itself. The nearest option is the Wonderland Villas Commercial Complex, located a short walk away.
Is it easy to push a stroller to the garden from the MTR?
It is physically demanding. Because the garden is high up on Wah King Hill Road, walking up from the nearest MTR stations involves a very steep incline. Taking a direct green minibus or a taxi is highly recommended.
Can my child ride their balance bike or play with a scooter here?
No. Standard passive LCSD gardens generally prohibit cycling, scootering, or balance-bike riding inside the pedestrian garden paths to maintain safety for elderly visitors.
