About this place

Hong Kong Science Park is a tech campus in Pak Shek Kok, Sha Tin, that hosts family events such as fun runs and children's science shows. It sits on the Tolo Harbour waterfront, and its landmark is the Charles K. Kao Auditorium, known as the Golden Egg.

The grounds have a Grand Plaza, an amphitheatre, shops and restaurants. There is no MTR station on site: take the East Rail line to University station and then bus 272K, or minibus 27 from Sha Tin station. Parking is HK$20 an hour and the car parks take Octopus only.

Getting here

By MTR

Take the East Rail line to University station and change to bus 272K, or to Sha Tin station and take minibus 27.

By Bus

Bus routes 263A, 271B, 272A, 272K, 272P, 272S, 272X, 274P, 907D, 43P, 43S, 582, 74D, 74P, 82C and 96 serve the park, as do minibuses 27, 29, 806A and 806B.

By car

Drive via Tolo Highway; HKSTP puts it at about 30 minutes from Tsim Sha Tsui. There are more than 1,500 parking spaces.
