About this place
Hong Kong Cultural Centre is the LCSD performing arts venue on Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, where families come for musicals, ballet and concerts. It has three halls: the Concert Hall, the Grand Theatre and the Studio Theatre.
The building is open 9am to 11pm daily. From East Tsim Sha Tsui station, Exit L6 leads there through a pedestrian subway. There is a baby care room in the Auditoria Building foyer, lifts and accessible toilets, and a cloakroom for large items. Pacific Coffee and two restaurants are inside if you need to eat before the show, but food stays out of the auditorium seats.
Things to know
Baby care room
The baby care room is in the ground floor foyer of the Auditoria Building, with a nappy-changing table, a seat, a sink and a power point for a breast pump. Staff can help breastfeeding mothers on request.
Lifts and step-free access
Lifts serve the building, the Auditoria and Administration Building foyers have automatic doors, and the box office has ramps. Accessible toilets are in the foyer and in all three halls.
No food in the seats
Eating and drinking are not allowed in the auditorium seating. Pacific Coffee opens at 9am and stays open until 10pm on Fridays to Sundays, public holidays and nights with a performance, otherwise until 6pm.
Arrive early
Aim to be there 10 to 15 minutes before the start. Latecomers wait for a suitable break or the interval, and large items can go to the Cloakroom in the foyer.
