Fan Ling Wai Playground is a public local park and sports facility managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) of Hong Kong. Situated directly adjacent to the historic Fan Ling Wai village, it offers a relaxed and straightforward environment away from busy urban centers. Things to know

Beat the Heat

There is limited shade directly over the play equipment. To avoid intense heat and humidity, visit during cooler morning hours (8:00 AM to 10:00 AM) or after 4:00 PM.

Mosquito Protection

Since the venue is set near local greenery and the old village, mosquito repellent is highly recommended, especially from April to October.

Pack Your Own Supplies

There are no convenience stores or snack shops directly inside the playground. Always bring water bottles and hats for your kids.

Restrooms Onsite

There is a public toilet block adjacent to the playground, which includes a wheelchair-accessible stall. Note that the standard male and female toilets have a small step at the entrance.

Getting here

By MTR

Take the East Rail Line to Fanling Station. Take Exit C and walk for approximately 8 to 10 minutes (roughly 500 to 600 meters) to reach the park.

By Bus

You can take bus routes 78K or 79K (or overnight minibus 55K or 58S), which stop within walking distance of Fan Ling Wai village.

By car

Drive to Fanling and navigate toward Fan Ling Wai. You can park at the metered parking stalls near Fanling North Wai or the public car park at Fanling Swimming Pool (New Wan Road) and walk over.

By Taxi

Request the driver to drop you off at the entrance of Fan Ling Wai Playground or next to the Fan Ling Wai village entrance.
