About this place

Completed in 2012 and managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), this 3,100 square meter outdoor playground is an unpretentious local neighborhood space in Tung Chung, Lantau Island. It provides a quiet environment for neighborhood families to bring their younger children, featuring a dedicated set of play equipment (including slides and climbing structures), two 20 meter long shaded arbours, and seating benches.

In warmer months, the best times to visit are early in the morning (8:00 AM to 10:00 AM) or late afternoon (after 4:00 PM) to avoid intense direct heat.

Good to know

Is there a fee?
No. Public playgrounds in Hong Kong are free to enter and run by the LCSD.
What ages is this best for?
Most LCSD playgrounds suit ages 2 to 12, with separate toddler and older kid equipment. The exact setup varies by site.
Are there toilets nearby?
Usually yes. Most LCSD parks have public toilets within a five minute walk, and the nearest MTR station is a good backup.
What is the best time to go?
Mornings before noon are cooler and quieter, and late afternoon after the school rush works well too. In summer, avoid roughly noon to 3pm.
