About this place

This is a public, open-air neighborhood children's playground managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) of Hong Kong. Situated in the rural setting of Ping Che in Ta Kwu Ling, it provides basic outdoor recreational spaces and play equipment for local village residents and visiting families.

Things to know

Sun and Bug Protection

Since the playground is fully outdoors and situated near agricultural fields, it is highly recommended to pack mosquito repellent, sunscreen, and plenty of drinking water.

Nearby Public Restrooms

There are no restrooms inside the tiny playground boundaries, but the public Ta Kwu Ling Ping Che Tsuen (1) Public Toilet is located just a very short walk away.

Barrier-Free Access

The playground features improved barrier-free access, including a concrete ramp with handrails linking the street level of Ping Che Road to the elevated playground platform.

Visit Wun Chuen Sin Koon

To make the trip worthwhile, parents can combine a short stop at the playground with a visit to the nearby Wun Chuen Sin Koon, a famous Taoist temple with beautiful gardens just 340 meters away.

Good to knowGeneral guidance , know this venue? add detail

Is there a fee?
No. Public playgrounds in Hong Kong are free to enter and run by the LCSD.
What ages is this best for?
Most LCSD playgrounds suit ages 2 to 12, with separate toddler and older kid equipment. The exact setup varies by site.
Are there toilets nearby?
Usually yes. Most LCSD parks have public toilets within a five minute walk, and the nearest MTR station is a good backup.
What is the best time to go?
Mornings before noon are cooler and quieter, and late afternoon after the school rush works well too. In summer, avoid roughly noon to 3pm.
