About this place
The Hong Kong Film Archive is a dedicated five-storey facility designed to acquire, preserve, and showcase Hong Kong's rich cinematic history. It features a 125-seat mini-cinema, a 200-square-metre exhibition hall, a comprehensive Resource Centre, and specialized restoration laboratories. Families visit to introduce children to the city's nostalgic movie heritage through rotating thematic exhibitions (displaying historic movie props, vintage posters, and costumes), interactive multimedia displays, and regular family-friendly film screenings.
