About this place

Cityplaza Ice Palace is Hong Kong Island's largest indoor real-ice skating rink, measuring 800 square meters. Following a major digitalization and modernization overhaul, it offers a multi-sensory skating environment with advanced audio, light projection technology, and an eco-friendly refrigeration system. Families flock here to escape the heat, enjoy casual public skating, buy specialized gear from the on-site skate shop, or enroll in multi-level figure skating and short-track speed skating classes at its world-class Skate School.

Things to know

Mandatory Gloves

For safety, all skaters on the ice must wear gloves. These are not provided for free but can be purchased at the on-site Skate Shop if you forget to bring your own.

Guardian Pass

Children aged 12 or below must be accompanied by a guardian. A Child Ticket includes a free non-skater pass for one adult to enter the common area.

Dress Warmly

The temperature on and around the ice is low. Dress children in long, comfortable pants, bring a jacket, and wear thick, tall socks to prevent boot chafing.

Smart Wristbands

Visitors receive a smart wristband upon registration. Use it to access the rink, retrieve skates at the self-service kiosk, and operate digital lockers.
