Tai Loong Street Playground is a free, municipal outdoor park and recreational venue managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) of Hong Kong. It is popular among local families for its children's play area, sports facilities, and quiet, neighborhood atmosphere.
Things to know
Roller Skating Rink Closed
The 1-ring roller skating rink is currently closed until further notice due to public works (the Lift and Pedestrian Walkway System construction between Tai Loong Street and Wo Yi Hop Road).
Mosquito Protection
Because the park is surrounded by neighborhood greenery, mosquito repellent is highly recommended, especially from April to October.
Bring Your Own Equipment
There are no sports equipment hire shops or retail options inside the park. Parents should bring their own basketballs, skipping ropes, or play gear.
Beat the Humidity
As the playground is completely outdoor, it can get very hot. The best times to visit during warmer months are between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM, or after 4:00 PM.

Location & getting there
Getting here
Alight at Kwai Hing Station or Kwai Fong Station. From Kwai Hing, it is a 15 to 20 minute walk uphill. From Kwai Fong, taking a short bus or minibus ride is recommended.
Alight at Shek Lei (Tai Loong Street) Bus Terminus, located right next to the playground. KMB routes include 31M, 35A, 35X, 31, 31B, 32, 36B, 43A, or 936.
Navigate to Tai Loong Street, Kwai Chung. Park at the on-street metered parking spaces or at the neighboring Yee Fung Court or Shek Lei Shopping Centre car parks.
Taxis can pull up directly at the curbside of Tai Loong Street next to the park entrance.
The playground is easily reachable within 5 to 10 minutes on foot from Shek Lei (I) and (II) Estates.
