About this place
Tai Hang Fui Sha Wai Playground is a quiet, free outdoor public playground managed by the LCSD. Tucked away in the historic walled village of Fui Sha Wai in Tai Po, this cozy spot features simple play equipment and an Elderly Fitness Corner, making it a lovely, uncrowded space for local families and toddlers to enjoy some fresh air.
Things to know
Mosquito Protection
Because the playground is located in a village setting in Tai Po, mosquito and insect repellent are highly recommended, especially between April and October.
Pack the Essentials
There are no retail shops directly on-site. Parents should bring plenty of drinking water, sun protection (hats and sunscreen), and basic snacks.
Beat the Heat
Due to the outdoor nature of the playground, the best times to visit during warmer months are early mornings (8:00 AM to 10:00 AM) or late afternoons (after 4:00 PM) to avoid direct sun.
Check the Weather
As an open outdoor playground with minimal overhead shelter, it is best to monitor the weather. The park empties out quickly during Amber rainfall warnings or higher.
