Things to know

Smoke-Free Zone

The playground is a strictly designated smoke-free public pleasure ground.

Basic Amenities

This is a highly remote, rustic country playground consisting primarily of an outdoor basketball court. There are no elaborate climbing frames, themed playsets, or indoor play zones.

Historic Landmark

The playground is situated directly adjacent to the historic, now-vacant building of the former Ha Tsuen Heung Pak Nai Public School.

Bring Supplies

Because of the remote location, there are no large supermarkets or convenience stores nearby. Please pack plenty of drinking water, sunscreen, insect repellent, and snacks.

Good to knowGeneral guidance , know this venue? add detail

Is there a fee?
No. Public playgrounds in Hong Kong are free to enter and run by the LCSD.
What ages is this best for?
Most LCSD playgrounds suit ages 2 to 12, with separate toddler and older kid equipment. The exact setup varies by site.
Are there toilets nearby?
Usually yes. Most LCSD parks have public toilets within a five minute walk, and the nearest MTR station is a good backup.
What is the best time to go?
Mornings before noon are cooler and quieter, and late afternoon after the school rush works well too. In summer, avoid roughly noon to 3pm.
