About this place

Peak Road Garden is a beautifully landscaped public outdoor garden located right next to the Peak Tower and Peak Galleria. Families visit this green pocket to relax after taking the Peak Tram, let children stretch their legs on the artificial turf, walk their family dogs, and snap photos of the Hong Kong skyline. From evening until night, the garden becomes the prime viewing spot for a free, spectacular 3D projection mapping show displayed on the adjacent Peak Tower.

Things to know

Evening 3D Light Show

Catch the free HSBC Life Illuminations at The Peak daily until June 6, 2027. This 10 minute 3D projection mapping show lights up the Peak Tower at 7:30 PM, 8:30 PM, and 9:30 PM, best viewed from the garden.

Playground Equipment

The garden features artificial turf and benches but no slides or swings. For play structures, visit the Level 1 playground at Peak Galleria next door or walk 10 minutes to Mount Austin Playground.

Pet-Inclusive Environment

As an official Inclusive Park for Pets, you will see dogs on leashes. Keep an eye on toddlers who might want to approach unfamiliar animals.

Beat the Heat

The garden is fully outdoors with minimal shade. Midday sun can be intense, so visiting before 10:00 AM or after 4:00 PM is highly recommended for families with toddlers.
