About this place

Kai Tak Arena is an indoor sports venue inside Kai Tak Sports Park in Kowloon City district, hosting family entertainment, major matches, and community ball games. The complex features a 10,000-seat main arena, a smaller multi-purpose sports hall, and activity studios.

Public concourses are open daily with air conditioning, making it an easy stop on rainy days. A covered walkway links directly to the neighbouring mall and outdoor playground, but event days bring special ticketing rules and entry restrictions.

Things to know

Stroller rules during events

Strollers can be used around general concourses and lifts, but cannot be brought to audience seats during ticketed events in the main hall. Store them in venue lockers or at the cloakroom.

Event day parking rules

Drive-in hourly parking is suspended on major event days, and spaces are strictly reserved for drivers with pre-purchased vouchers. Use the MTR instead when events are on.

Outside food not allowed

Outside food and drinks cannot be brought inside the main event halls, though baby formula and medication are exempt. You may bring an empty plastic or silicone bottle under 600 ml to fill at water fountains.

Supervision and court shoes

Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times. Anyone playing on sports courts must wear non-marking sports shoes.
