About this place

Spanning approximately 9,500 square metres on the waterfront of Tai Kok Tsui, Hoi Fai Road Park features an Olympic-inspired design with vibrant color schemes. Co-designed with play consultant Playright, its state-of-the-art inclusive playground utilizes Active Play principles to encourage diverse physical activities for children of all abilities.

Things to know

Themed Play Zones

The playground features specialized zones: an Age 3 to 12 Zone with a sensory sandpit, slides, and carousel, and an Age 5 to 12 Zone offering challenging ropes courses, balance balls, and hammocks.

Minimal Shade

The main play equipment is unshaded. While there are glass-roofed rain shelters and covered decks, parents should bring sunscreen, hats, and plenty of water on hot days.

Onsite Restrooms and Babycare

A clean, accessible public toilet block and a fully equipped, dedicated babycare room are situated directly adjacent to the playground area.

Dual-Park Trip

A short walk away along the promenade is the Hoi Fai Road Playable Space, featuring a Mini City theme with trampolines, parent-child swings, and a seesaw.

Good to know

Does the playground have a sandpit?
Yes, the playground features an inclusive sensory sandpit complete with built-in metal sand diggers. Parents may want to bring their own buckets, spades, and a change of clothes.
Is there any parking directly at the park?
No, the park does not have a dedicated public car park. Most driving parents use the nearby multi-story car park at Olympian City 1 (approximately a 5-minute walk away).
Can older kids enjoy this park, or is it only for toddlers?
It caters to both. There are gentler play options for toddlers and preschoolers, but the park also features a designated zone for ages 5 to 12 equipped with challenging ropes courses, climbing nets, and balance elements.
Are there changing and nursing facilities nearby?
Yes. The park has a modern, clean, government-managed babycare room alongside its public restrooms, which makes it highly convenient for parents with infants and toddlers.
Is the playground pet-friendly?
While the adjacent Hoi Fai Road Playable Space and parts of the promenade feature pet-friendly designs, pets are generally restricted within the main children's play structures of the LCSD park to ensure safety and hygiene.
