About this place

Managed by the LCSD, Hin Tin Playground is a popular outdoor recreation park in Sha Tin. Following its renovation, it features a modern, non-traditional children's play area designed to boost coordination and physical development. With climbing ropes, balancing logs, and nearby sports facilities, it is a fantastic spot for kids to burn off energy.

Things to know

Exciting Play Zones

The park is uniquely tailored for climbing development, featuring climbing nets, varied slides, and a popular musical sensory area with drums and percussion boards.

Beat the Heat

Because the playground is outdoors with minimal shade over the play equipment, it is best to visit between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM, or in the late afternoon after 4:00 PM to avoid peak summer heat and humidity.

Pack the Essentials

There is no retail shop directly inside the playground. Parents should pack water bottles, sun hats, a basic first-aid kit, and mosquito repellent (especially between April and October).

No Smoking Policy

The entire playground is a designated non-smoking venue.
