Yau Tam Mei Playground is an outdoor public leisure facility managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) of the Hong Kong Government. Located in the quiet, rural village of Yau Tam Mei (also known as Ngau Tam Mei) in Yuen Long, this local spot is primarily used by neighborhood families for outdoor play and physical recreation. It sits directly adjacent to the former (now abandoned) Yau Tam Mei School (a well-known local historic site featured in the TV drama We are the Littles) and the Yau Tam Mei Basketball Court.

Location & getting there
Getting here
Take the MTR to Yuen Long Station or Kam Sheung Road Station, then transfer to local road transport as there is no station within walking distance.
Take Green Minibus 37 from Yuen Long town center to Yau Tam Mei Village Office, then walk 5 to 10 minutes. Alternatively, take KMB 76K to Ngau Tam Mei stop and walk in.
Drive via San Tin Highway, exit onto San Tam Road, then turn onto Ngau Tam Mei Road and Chun Shin Road. Note that there is no official public parking on-site.
Take a New Territories Green Taxi from Yuen Long MTR Station directly to Yau Tam Mei Playground, which takes about 10 to 15 minutes.
