About this place

Situated along the scenic Rambler Channel, this unique seaside playground offers children front-row views of massive container and cargo ships sailing to and from the port. The play space features a creative container terminal-themed design, complete with a container-shaped adventure tower and multi-level physical play equipment, making it a favorite spot for local families seeking outdoor recreation and ship-spotting.

Things to know

Container Terminal Theme

The playground floor features a colorful, artistic grid layout modeled after stacked shipping containers, creating a unique visual experience.

Exciting Play Equipment

Core attractions include a uniquely designed Container Adventure Tower, a challenging Rope Course, a Rotating Platform, and a Trampoline.

Limited Shade

Being an open, seaside venue, there is limited shade directly over the play equipment. On sunny days, parents should prepare hats, sunscreen, and plenty of drinking water.

No Onsite Dining

There are no food and beverage kiosks inside the immediate play area. However, the 4 story Maritime Square shopping mall is a short walk away, offering a wide array of family friendly restaurants and cafes.

Good to know

Is there an admission fee to play?
No, the children's playground and the surrounding promenade are completely free public spaces managed by the government.
Is this playground suitable for toddlers?
Yes, but caution is recommended. While the trampoline and rotating platform are great for younger children, the Container Adventure Tower and Rope Course are designed to test limits and are better suited for older children under adult supervision.
Are we allowed to ride bicycles or scooters in the play area?
No. While the promenade is a pleasant seaside path, cycling and scooting are generally prohibited in the active pedestrian and play zones (dedicated children's cycling tracks can be found nearby at Tsing Yi Northeast Park).
How do we access toilets with a stroller or wheelchair?
Accessible restrooms with flat, wide entrances are located at the adjacent bus terminal or ferry pier. The promenade itself is flat, wide, and highly wheelchair and stroller friendly.
Can we bring our dog?
No. General sections of the promenade and the play areas do not permit pets (though a specific Inclusive Park for Pets section exists further down at the Grand Horizon portion of the promenade).
