Tai Po Tau Playground is an outdoor neighborhood recreation space in Tai Po. Managed by the LCSD, it features newly refurbished play equipment, sports courts, and a relaxed environment perfect for local families to play, run, and enjoy the outdoors together.

Refurbished Play Areas
The children's multi-play structures and parent-child swings were newly upgraded in early 2024.
Bring Hydration and Snacks
There are no food kiosks or shops on-site, so please bring your own water and snacks for the kids.
Mosquito Protection
Due to nearby green areas, it is highly recommended to pack mosquito repellent, especially from April to October.
Avoid Midday Heat
As the playground is fully outdoors, visiting in the morning or late afternoon is best during hot weather.

Location & getting there
Getting here
Take the East Rail Line to Tai Wo MTR Station, Exit B, then walk about 8 to 11 minutes along Tai Po Tai Wo Road and Tai Po Tau Drive.
Take routes 73A, 73B, 73X, 79, 96, E41, or W3 to the Tai Po Tau Road stop, or take a bus to the Tai Po Tau Bus Terminus.
Drive to Tai Po Tau Drive. Park at the nearby Tai Po Tau Shui Wai Outdoor Car Park or Taihu Garden Phase 2 Parking Lot.
Request a direct drop-off on Tai Po Tau Drive or Tai Po Tau Path right outside the playground's main entrance.
Walk 8 to 11 minutes from Tai Wo MTR Station via the local pedestrian walkways.
