About this place

Covering approximately 12,000 to 14,000 square meters, this spacious outdoor riverside garden in Sha Tin is divided into Areas A, B, and C. Families visit to enjoy a quiet play break away from the crowds. The park features basic children's play equipment and an outdoor roller skating rink. Additionally, Area B operates as an Inclusive Park for Pets, making it a highly popular destination for families visiting with their dogs.

Things to know

Bring Mosquito Protection

Being right along the Shing Mun River and near grassy zones, mosquitoes are common. Pack bug spray, especially from April to October.

Skating Safety

If your kids plan to use the outdoor roller skating rink, parents are strongly advised to bring their own safety gear, including helmets, knee pads, and elbow pads, as there is no equipment rental on-site.

Limited On-Site Shops

There are no major retail stores or convenience shops directly inside the park, so parents should pack water bottles, snacks, and basic first-aid supplies.

Beat the Heat

Because the venue is completely outdoor with minimal shade over the active play areas, the best times to visit during the humid months are early morning (8:00 AM to 10:00 AM) or late afternoon (after 4:00 PM).
