About this place

A quiet, outdoor public neighborhood playground and fitness space managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) of Hong Kong. Tucked away in Sheung Kwai Chung Village, it serves as a local pocket play area for resident families and visitors to the Shing Mun Valley area.

Things to know

No Onsite Public Toilets

There are no dedicated restrooms inside the playground area. However, public village toilets are situated a short distance away.

Mosquito Protection

Because the playground is located in a green, semi-rural village valley, parents are highly advised to pack mosquito repellent, especially between April and October.

No Onsite Shops

There are no kiosks or stores directly at this small playground. Visitors should pack their own water bottles and snacks.

Elderly Fitness Corner

Alongside youth play structures, the venue includes an Elderly Fitness Corner featuring upper limb traction devices for adult and elderly exercise.

Good to knowGeneral guidance , know this venue? add detail

Is there a fee?
No. Public playgrounds in Hong Kong are free to enter and run by the LCSD.
What ages is this best for?
Most LCSD playgrounds suit ages 2 to 12, with separate toddler and older kid equipment. The exact setup varies by site.
Are there toilets nearby?
Usually yes. Most LCSD parks have public toilets within a five minute walk, and the nearest MTR station is a good backup.
What is the best time to go?
Mornings before noon are cooler and quieter, and late afternoon after the school rush works well too. In summer, avoid roughly noon to 3pm.
