This is a public municipal outdoor playground located in Shau Kei Wan on Hong Kong Island. Managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), it is tucked underneath and adjacent to the Oi Chi Street flyover. The playground is uniquely located next to and partially underneath the Oi Chi Street flyover. This overhead structure provides some natural shelter from light rain and direct sunlight, but it can occasionally be noisy due to traffic.

The playground is a designated public pleasure ground under Hong Kong law where smoking is strictly prohibited.

On-site Recycling Facilities

Public recycling bins for plastics and a community old clothes recycling bin are located behind the lift in the playground area.

Getting here

By MTR

Alight at Shau Kei Wan MTR Station, take Exit A2 or Exit A3, and walk for about 2 to 3 minutes (around 350 to 365 meters) via Po Man Street or Nam On Street.

By Bus

Take any bus route passing through Shau Kei Wan Road, such as 2, 2X, 8H, 14, 18X, 81, 82, 82X, 85, 102, 106, 608, 613, 682, 694, 720, or A12.

By car

No onsite parking is available. Drivers can park at nearby public commercial car parks, such as the Lancashire Centre car park immediately next door.

By Taxi

Taxis can drop passengers off directly along Shau Kei Wan Road near Oi Chi Street.

Are dogs and other pets allowed inside the playground?

No. Standard LCSD public playgrounds do not allow pets. However, there is a designated pet park nearby in the same district, such as the Sheung On Street Pet Garden.
